All the applicants
(a). Educational Qualifications.
- Having obtained a degree in Commercial Science or Management from a University which is recognized by the University Grant Commission.
or - Having passed the Intermediate level Examination in the Institute of Charted Accountants of Sri Lanka. (ICASL)
or - Having passed the Intermediate level Examination in Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) of United Kingdom.
or - Having passed the Intermediate level Examination in the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of United Kingdom.
or - Having passed the Higher National Diploma in Accountancy. (HNDA)
Age Limit :
- Should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years. Maximum age limit is not relevant to internal applicants,
External Applicants
(a.) Experience
- At least three (03) years experience in the relevant field in a Government Corporation, Statutory Board or Reputed Private Sector Establishment after having obtained the degree/ qualifications.
Internal Applicants.
(a.) Experience
- Having completed at least three (03) years satisfactory service period of the relevant field in a post of Junior
Management Services category after having obtained the degree/ qualifications
or - Having completed five (05) years satisfactory service period in Junior Management Services Category Grade II which relevant to the subject stream which assigned to the post
Salary code and salary scale:
MM 1-1-2025-Rs 91,690-10X2,480-15X3,450-168,240 (Consider that salary will be paid as per the Sub – Schedule II of the Management Services Circular No: 01/2025)
2. Administrative Officer
External Applicants
- Having obtained a degree in any subject field from a University which is recognized by the University Grant Commission and having at least one (01) year experience in the relevant field in a Government Department/ Statutory Board or Reputed Commercial Establishment after having obtained the degree/qualifications
Internal Applicants
- Having obtained a degree in any subject field from a University which is recognized by the University Grant Commission and having completed one (01) year satisfactory service period of the relevant field in a post of
“Management Assistant” (Non – Technological) Services Category after having obtained the degree
or - Having completed five (05) years satisfactory service period of the relevant field in a post of “Management Assistant” (Non – Technological) Grade II Services Category
Age Limit:
Should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years. Maximum age limit is not relevant to internal applicants,
Salary code and salary scale :
JM 1-1-2025-Rs 72,650-10X1,360-18X2,040-122,970 (Consider that salary will be paid as per the Sub – Schedule II of the Management Services Circular No: 01/2025)
Others:
Each Applicant:
- Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post well and to serve in any part of the Island
- Should have an excellent moral character
- This posts are permanent and liable to pay Employee Provident Fund (EPF) and Employee Trust Fund (ETF)
- The allowances for the cost of living and the special allowances approved by the government will be paid in addition to the above salary.

- Decision of the Appointing Authority is responsible to call for the interviews.
