Assistant Mines Captain (Trainee)

Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka for the following vacancy existing at the Company.

01. ASSISTANT MINES CAPTAIN – TRAINEE

1.1 Qualifications:

G.C.E. (A/L) with 03 passes in mathematical or engineering technology subjects in the new syllabus
and
Pass in English in G.C.E (O/L)

1.2 Salary Scale

Trainee allowance – Rs.50, 540/- per month.
After completion of one year training period, Assistant Mines Captain will be recruited on contract basis on the below mentioned salary scale MA 2-1: Rs. 50,540.00 – 10 x 540-7 x 630-4 x 890- 20 x 1,190 = 87,710.00
Cost of Living Allowance, monthly meal allowance based on daily attendance and other statutory payments as per the Government Circulars will be included.

1.3 Age Limit

Age should be over 18 years and not more than 35 years.

Every Applicant,

Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
Should be physically and mentally fit
Should be of excellent moral character.

Other Benefits

Provident Fund Contribution of 10% by the Employee and 15% by the Employer (inclusive of 3% to the E.T.F)
Employees Insurance Scheme
Accommodation can be provided, if required.

Experience in the mining industry or manufacturing industries in a supervisory capacity will be an added qualification.
