Junior Executive – Finance

Ajax Engineers Private Limited a subsidiary of the Browns Group, is a strong player in Aluminium fabrication and installation in high-rise buildings with over 30 years of experience. With its 1,000 sq. state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, Ajax offers unique, customised products to meet clients’ specifications. We are looking for a self-motivated, result-driven individual with a proven track record to join Ajax.

Junior Executive – Finance

Responsibilities:

Validate cash and cheque remittances
Organize monthly presentations for the management team
Monitor the credit approval process as per company protocols
Monitor and review weekly aging report for overdue debtors
Involve monthly bank reconciliation & intercompany reconciliation • Process invoicing receipts
Preparing debts aging reports as per the management requirement
Involving other finance commitment in the entity
Build the strong relationship with banks and customers

Qualifications:

Partly qualified in CA/CMA/ICASL/AAT or any professional qualification in credit management
Should be a good team player with ability to work under pressure
Able to travel visit customers in order to recover debts
At least 1-3 years’ experience in similar capacity
Male candidate preferred
Applicants must be under the age of 35
Maturity to work independently with limited supervision
Experience in Accounting packages or ERP system
Should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Spread Sheets & Outlook
Good communication skill
Previous experience in construction sector and living in the Colombo area would be an added advantage
Must have valid driving license
