Officer – Warehouse

Job Summary:

Oversee and manage the loading of goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Supervise and direct the loading team, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner
Ensure proper handling and organization of goods during the loading process, keeping track of inventory
Enforce safety standards and ensure all personnel follow safety procedures during the loading process
Coordination with logistics, warehousing, and transportation teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods
Inspect products for damage before loading and ensure goods are loaded securely to prevent damage during transit
Maintain accurate records of loaded goods, including product details, quantity, and destination
Oversee the use and maintenance of loading equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to ensure operational efficiency
Monitor the performance of loading operations and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency

Eligibility Criteria:

Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the manufacturing or paint industry
Conversant in Sinhala and English Languages
Prior experience on Managing minor staff
