Watawala Plantation PLC – Boiler operator

JOB PROFILE

Selected candidate will be responsible for operate and control the boiler operation in accordance with the SOP, and ensure constant and consistent Steam Pressure and Flowrate is maintained for effective milling and power generation whilst supervising the team reporting to the boiler operator are effectively utilized. Further, the person should ensure the cleanliness of the station, with minimum emissions, and assisting in TPM.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Should pass GCE A/L Examination.
NVQ Level-4, qualifications from the relevant field or equivalent. Mechanical/Electrical/Welding Fitting/Millwright/Mechatronics)
3-5 years of experience in the boiler operation field.
Class-I Boiler operator certification is a must for the operator.
Sound technical skills.
Ability to work as a team.
Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
