Job Profile:

• To function as Team Leader to carry audits of branches as per the Risk Based Internal Audit Plan
• Guide team members in carrying out the audits and ensure they are being trained on the branch operations
• Liaise with Credit Auditors and identify areas that required to be updated during branch audits/credit audits/verification of security documents
• Carry out online reviews of branches continuously to ensure risks and trends are being correctly captured •
• Ensure Audit procedures are updated timely for branch operations and credit functions and provide necessary directions to improve the quality of checking

Candidate Profile:

• Possession of a full or partial qualification in banking, in conjunction with a full or partial professional qualification in accountancy
• A minimum of 06-08 years of professional experience in internal auditing or credit risk management within a commercial banking context
• Comprehensive knowledge of internal auditing, with a particular emphasis on branch operations and credit assessment
• Demonstrated effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including proficiency in presentation techniques
• Strong analytical capabilities, with expertise in problem identification, solution development, and negotiation
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, operate independently and manage diverse responsibilities simultaneously
• Proven track record in leading and managing a team, effectively guiding members to accomplish defined objectives
