Assistant Relationship Manager/Relationship Executive- Islamic Banking Unit
Job Responsibilities
- Develop new relationships while strengthening existing key revenue generating relationships for the Islamic Banking Segment.
- Develop/Structure Islamic Banking Products to meet the client funding/deposit requirements.
- Evaluation and submission of quality credit appraisals and reviews.
- Improve the quality of the portfolio and work along with the business team to implement Islamic Banking strategies to achieve short and long term objectives.
- To be able to work as part of a team which comprise of Relationship Managers, (Junior and Senior), Credit Officers and other operational staff, collaborating effectively and to achieve individual job targets and team objectives.
- Contribute to the overall strategy formulation, conducting market and competitor analysis, trade flows and
innovative deal structures. - Guide and support the staff of the unit to ensure that they reach their full potential while being customer focused and results oriented.
- Assist the branch network in identifying business opportunities, negotiations and canvassing of business.
The Person
- Minimum of 7-8 years’ experience in Islamic banking out of which 4 -5 years in managing a corporate portfolio.
- Posses a fully or partially completed degree/a professional qualification in banking/Islamic banking, finance from a reputed professional body.
- Good knowledge in Islamic Banking products/structures.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate technical information to highly
technical/non-technical audiences. - A qualification in Islamic banking will be an added advantage.
