Assistant Head Driver (Dredger) – Service Category Technical 7.3 (T3)
Qualifications
- Should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects including Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
and - Certificate for not less than 1000 Horse Power (750KW) issued by the Director General of Merchant Shipping of Sri Lanka under the 1907 Launch Ordinance.
- National Certificate of Technology (NCT) in the Mechanical or Shipping sector or the Certificate of three (03) year full time course issued by a Government Institute or by an Industrial or Vocational Training Institute recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission or a similar certificate or NVQ 4 Certificate.
Experience
Three (03) years of experience as an Assistant Head Driver (Dredger) in a Government Institute or in a recognized Private Institute in
a similar post.
