VACANCY
The University Grants Commission being the apex body of the University System will entertain applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following post at the Secretariat.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University
And - Ability to programme computers in one or more languages,
Including the following;
PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Required Technical Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in PHP (pure/native PHP/Frameworks).
- Good knowledge of MySQL database design, querying, and optimization.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for frontend interactivity.
- Solid understanding of HTML and CSS for web interface development.
- Experience with GitHub for source code management and collaboration.
- Ability to understand and enhance existing PHP-based systems.
- Experience in customizing features based on evolving requirements.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in handling form-based workflows and backend processing.
- Knowledge of integrating frontend and backend components efficiently.
- Basic understanding of web security practices.
- Experience in maintaining websites and handling production issues.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in developing administrative or workflow-based systems will be an added advantage.
