Filling of vacancies for the post of Driver in the Condominium Management Authority.
(Number of vacancies is 02)
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for filling the vacancies for the post of Driver in the Condominium Management Authority.
External Candidates
Educational Qualifications:
- Passed the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination in six (06) subjects with two (02) credits at least in not more than two sittings.
Qualifications
- Possession of a motor vehicle driving license for driving heavy vehicles issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Transport (expected qualifications should be clearly stated) and at least three (03) years of driving experience after obtaining the driving license.
Internal Applicants
- Must possess a driving license for driving heavy vehicles issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Transport (expected skills should be clearly stated) and have at least three (03) years of driving experience after obtaining the driving license.
- Must have completed five (05) years of satisfactory service in a Primary Semi-Skilled (PL 2) or Primary Non-Skilled (PL 1) service category.
Salary Scale
PL 3 (43,280 -10×490 -10×540 -10×590- 12×630=67,040)
Salary will be paid in a phased manner up to 2027.01.01 as per Schedule II of Management Services Circular No. 01/2025.
All government approved allowances and living expenses will be paid.
Must be not less than 18 years of age and not more than 45 years of age.
The upper age limit does not apply to internal applicants.
Every candidate,
- Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties assigned to the post and to serve in any part of the island.
- Must be of excellent character.
General conditions relating to the post
- This post is permanent and non-pensionable. 10% of the employee and 15% of the employer contribute to the Employees Provident Fund and 3% of the employer contribute to the Employees Trust Fund.
- Applicants from State Corporations / Statutory Boards should submit applications through their Heads of Institutions.
- Selection will be made on the basis of merit in the structured interview.
- The names and addresses of two non-relatives who can provide references about the applicant should be submitted with the application.
- Photocopies of educational, other certificates and certificates of experience should be attached to the application.
- Applicants should have fulfilled all the qualifications as on the last date of receipt of applications.
