VACANCIES

Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka who fulfill the appropriate qualifications for the following posts that exist in Lalith Athulathmudali Mahapola Higher Education Scholarship Trust Fund.

Director (01 Post)

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants (1 or 2 below)

1. Should have obtained a degree in Business Management, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other degree in the subject field relevant to the post
   With
   Should have obtained a postgraduate (Masters) degree in the relevant field / obtaining the Associate Membership of a reputed Chartered Professional Institute compatible to the subject field relevant to the post And
   Should have obtained at least 15 years experience in the relevant field in “Managerial Level” posts in Government or Statutory Institution or reputed private institution after obtaining the Bachelor’s degree
   or
2. Should have obtained the Full Membership of a reputed Chartered Professional Institute compatible to the subject field relevant to the post
   And
   Should have obtained at least 15 years experience in the relevant field in “Managerial Level” posts in Government, Government Corporation, Board or Statutory Institution or reputed private institution.

Salary Scale :

HM 1-3: Rs. (152,500-15 x 4,100-214,000) Salary paid as at 01.01.2025 – Rs. 113,556/-, Salary paid as at 01.01.2026 – Rs. 133,028/-, Salary paid as at 01.01.2027 – Rs. 152,500/- (As per Management Services Circular No. 01/2025) – EPF -15%, ETF – 3%, Cost of Living Allowance

Internal Auditor II (01 Post)

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants (1 or 2 below)

1. Should have obtained a degree in Business Management, Finance, Commerce, Accounting recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other degree in the subject field relevant to the post and Should have obtained at least 01 year’s experience in the audit activities in Government, Government Corporation, Board, Statutory Institution or reputed private institution after obtaining the degree
   Or
2. Should have passed the Intermediate examination of a reputed Chartered Professional Institute compatible to the subject field relevant to the post and should have at least 01 year’s experience in the subject field relevant to the post after obtaining the qualification

Salary Scale:

MM 1-1: Rs. (91,690 10 x 2,480 15 x 3,450 168,240) Salary paid as at 01.01.2025 Rs. 71,730/-, Salary paid as at 01.01.2026 – Rs. 81,710/-, Salary paid as at 01.01.2027 – Rs. 91,690/- (As per Management Services Circular No. 01/2025) EPF -15%, ETF -3%, Cost of Living Allowance

Accountant II (01 Post)

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants (1 or 2 below)

1. Should have obtained a degree in Business Management, Finance, Commerce, Accounting recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other degree in the subject field relevant to the post and should have obtained at least 01 year’s experience in the accounting activities in Government, Government Corporation, Board, Statutory Institution or reputed private institution after obtaining the degree
   Or
2. Should have passed the Intermediate examination of a reputed Chartered Professional Institute compatible to the subject field relevant to the post and should have at least 01 year’s experience in the subject field relevant to the post after obtaining the qualification.

Information Technology Manager II (01 Post)

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants

1. Should have obtained a degree in Information Technology degree recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other degree in the subject field relevant to the post and should have obtained at least 01 year’s experience in the information technology activities in Government, Government Corporation, Board, Statutory Institution or reputed private institution after obtaining the qualification

Salary Scale:

MM 1-1: Rs. (91,690 10 x 2,480 – 15 x 3,4450-168,240) Salary paid as at 01.01.2025 Rs. 71,730/-, Salary paid as at 01.01.2026 – Rs. 81,710/-, Salary paid as at 01.01.2027 – Rs. 91,690/- (As per Management Services Circular No. 01/2025) – EPF -15%, ETF -3%, Cost of Living Allowance

Others (Every applicant should be)

• For the post of Director – Age should be not less than 35 years and not more than 55 years
• For the posts of Internal Auditor II, Accountant II, Information Technology Manager II – Age should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.
• Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties entrusted to the post and should be able to serve in any part of the island and should bear an excellent moral character. Knowledge in English, Sinhala and Tamil languages will be considered as an additional qualification
• Will be selected through a structured interview
