Postal ballot marking locations will be announced – Sri Lankan President Election 2024
The Election Commission has announced the places reserved for marking postal votes in the presidential election.
September 04 – Postal ballots can be marked at District Secretariat offices and Election Commission offices. September 04 & 06 (Two days) – Uniformed staff in Senior Deputy and DIG Offices, Superintendent of Police and Assistant Superintendent of Police offices, Police Stations, Special Task Force Camps, Special Police Units and Elite Security Divisions and Civilians attached to those offices. The staff has the facility to mark postal ballots. September 05 and 06 (2 days) – Tri-forces camps and all other government institutions also have the facility to mark postal ballots. September 11 and 12 (both days) – Postal voters who were unable to mark their postal votes on the respective days have the option of marking their ballots at the district election offices in the district where their place of work is located.
