Sri Lanka Budget 2025
The Government List for the year 2025 is scheduled to be presented to Parliament today (17).
This will be the first to be presented by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake after assuming the office of President.
Accordingly, Parliament is scheduled to meet today at 10.30.
The debate on the reading of the recommendation will begin for 7 days from February 18 to 25.
The recommended reading vote is scheduled to be held on February 25 at 6.00 p.m.
The committee debate on the Appropriation Bill for the year 2025 is scheduled to be held for 19 days, including 4 Saturdays, from February 27 to March 21.
It has also been decided that the third reading vote on the Appropriation Bill will be held on March 21 at 6.00 p.m.
