Recruitment for Nursing Training Schools – NTS Gazette 2025

Two gazette notifications to make new recruitments to the nursing service will be issued on Friday

Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa says that two gazette notifications are expected to be issued next Friday for the recruitment of vacancies in the nursing service.

Accordingly, from 2020 to 2022, steps will be taken to recruit 2,650 of those who sat for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination and 875 graduates who obtained a nursing degree into the nursing service, the Minister stated while participating in the media briefing held today (15) to inform the Cabinet of Ministers.

Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa further stated that once the relevant gazettes for these recruitments are issued, they will be able to apply for this.
