2025 – Resumption of G.C.E. (A.L) Examination.

Due to the adverse weather conditions prevailing in the island, arrangements have been made to hold the subjects that were not held in the 2025 G.C.E. (A.L) Examination from 12th January to 20th January 2026. It is hereby announced that the revised examination schedule is attached herewith.

Candidates from schools affected by the disaster should inform their school principal if they are unable to appear for the examination at their examination center. Principals should inform the Zonal Director of Education and the Commissioner of Examinations (School Examination Organization and Results) if there are candidates affected by the disaster in their school.

Also, if private candidates who are affected by the disaster are unable to appear for the examination at their designated examination center, please inform them through the following telephone numbers or email.
