Operations Manager – Microfinance

Job Profile

Excellent skills in Microfinance credit analysis, delinquency management and skills in evaluating proposals in Agriculture / Agri Processing Sector
Set comprehensive goals for the performance and growth of the microfinancing operation of the bank and design policies that promote Bank culture and vision for Microfinancing
Strategic Management in Microfinance Financial Planning and consistently meeting deadlines and evolving priorities and develop and implement business strategies, plans and procedures for the microfinance operation
In-depth analysis and interpretation of microfinance data and metrics
Developing and Promoting Agency Banking Operation of the Bank through the Microfinancing network
Understand and mitigate key elements of the Bank risk profile and ensure that the Bank complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

Applicant’s Profile

Diploma in Microfinance of Institute of Bankers Sri Lanka (IBSL) or Colombo University
Possessing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Agriculture would be an added advantage Participated in special training programs / workshops of microfinancing conducted locally or overseas
Communication skills in English and capacity to communicate in local languages of Sinhala and Tamil will be an added advantage
3- 5 years of experience in Microfinancing Branch Manager or Microfinance Operation Manager in a Microfinance Institute or a Bank
Communication skills in English and capacity to communicate in local languages of Sinhala and Tamil will be an added advantage
