Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Business Development, the candidate will be responsible in driving sales for the NP Business within the HORECA sector, coordinating and monitoring sales performance and working on ground with the field team to drive offtake and consumption amongst the customers/ channel. He/ She will be responsible for driving sales and business growth within the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering) sector.
A day in the life of the role:
- Developing the business by actively seeking new business opportunities in the market by closely working with the regional sales team and BDOs
- Developing and implementing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives within the B2B channel for HORECA.
- Coordinating overall distributor development, this would include ensuring right RTM model is in place along with resources, ensuring a healthy financial situation of the respective distributors & support and Coordinating Field Sales staff to achieve targets in HORECA/ Vending/NP Distributors / Non – NP Distributors.
- Support the business in coordinating and monitoring sales performance across channels with Senior Manager Business Development Channel Manager and Senior Manager – Beverage Solutions.
- Develop all channels by executing medium/long term objectives for the Nestlé Professional business. This includes identifying and prospecting new customers, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Coordinate with our Brands and Sales Teams to drive categories and new food and beverage solutions
- Support Brands teams to identify new categories and production options and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Directing, developing, monitoring & motivating the Business development team in achieving overall business / Channel objectives. This would include coordinating, aligning & executing activities in the trade, planning and executing Team training programs, collaborating across functions, and ensure effective execution on time.
What will make you successful?
- Education: A degree in Business Management or Finance or an equivalent qualification
- Expected experience: minimum 06 years of experience
- Language skills: Fluency in English and Sinhala
- Other skills: Exhibit strong leadership and team player skills with a passion in developing people
