Qualifications and Requirements :

Hold a bachelor’s degree (or in process) in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Exhibit a robust grasp of server-side scripting fundamentals – PHP/JavaScript and MySQL DB – with a focus on integrating WordPress functionalities. Demonstrate proficiency in web development, particularly with WordPress CMS.
Possess a strong understanding of front-end development, encompassing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress theme development experience.
Display keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, especially in managing WordPress content and plugins.
Showcase adaptability in fast-paced environments, with the ability to swiftly learn new WordPress technologies and techniques.
Be a team player committed to continuous learning and contribution within the WordPress ecosystem.
Demonstrate a goal-oriented approach, striving to optimize WordPress platform performance and user experience.
Uphold a strong work ethic and dedication to maintaining the integrity and security of the WordPress listing platform.

Key Responsibilities :

Architect comprehensive full-stack solutions for web development, utilizing WordPress functionalities and plugins.
Write efficient, well-designed, and testable code adhering to WordPress best practices.
Develop website/application layouts and user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices and customized WordPress themes.
Ensure the maintenance, expansion, and scalability of the WordPress listing platform, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
Collaborate closely with web designers to align visual design intentions with WordPress theme customization.
Review, edit, proofread, and optimize web content for performance and SEO, leveraging WordPress SEO plugins.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance the overall user experience of the WordPress listing platform, incorporating feedback from various stakeholders.

This is an one-year training contract & a trainee allowance will be paid to the interns for the tenure.*Candidates must be willing to work at the Toyota Lanka / its wholly owned subsidiary’s branch network as & when required.

You will assist the IT department at Toyota Lanka with a variety of duties as an ICT intern, such as system upkeep, troubleshooting, and user support. You will take part in IT projects, help implement new technologies, and make sure the business’s IT infrastructure runs well. This position gives you practical experience in a fast-paced setting, enabling you to hone your technical abilities and pick up insightful industry knowledge.
