The Job

• Develop, document, and implement an Information Security strategy, Governance Framework, and Business Continuity Plan to ensure the protection and resilience of all systems, networks, and data in alignment with the company’s operational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and manage Information Security policies, procedures, and control techniques that are consistent with the company’s Information Security strategy and international standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Conduct regular risk assessments and coordinate security audits to ensure ongoing compliance, security posture enhancement, and identification of vulnerabilities.
• Perform periodic cybersecurity assessments and implement timely remediation measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure continuous professional development by acquiring necessary certifications, staying current on Information Security trends, conducting research on emerging threats, and developing proactive security initiatives.
• Drive Information Security awareness programs across all levels of the organization to ensure that staff receive the necessary training and knowledge.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and business units to ensure security is embedded into all processes, services, and products, fostering a culture of security by design.
• Oversee incident response plans and manage any Information Security incidents, ensuring swift and appropriate actions are taken to mitigate risks and restore operations.

The Person

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Information Security/Information Technology, including at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in a regulated environment such as banking or finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science, with a specialization in Information Security.
• Master’s degree in Information Security or professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC (highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Security and Governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT) and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in assessing, prioritizing, and mitigating Information Security risks by implementing robust security controls and policies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams in complex project environments.
• Experience with incident management and business continuity planning, ensuring resilience and minimal disruption during security incidents.
