BANQUET SALES ASSISTANT
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Banquet Sales Assistant to join Cinnamon Grand Colombo. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka’s largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 16 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and Maldives including the US$ 1.4 Billion investment in Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams.
Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, the largest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital marketing.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on corporate clients, event planners, and organizations.
- Respond to inquiries and follow up with prospective clients to drive engagement.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, objectives, and preferences.
- Provide expert guidance, recommend suitable event packages, and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
- Diploma or training certificate in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
