Applications are invited from individuals who have fulfilled the qualifications for the following positions that are vacant at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine of the University of Colombo. Duly completed applications should be forwarded with copies of relevant certificates to the email address [email protected] to receive on or before 20.04.2026. Please ensure that the position applying for is clearly indicated on the subject of the email.

Only applications submitted in the prescribed form will be considered.
Incomplete applications or those lacking required details, including certified photocopies of certificates verifying qualifications and experience, will be rejected. Late submissions will not be accepted and rejected applications will not be reconsidered under any circumstance.
Post of Driver (Grade III) – 01 post
Qualifications:
- Having passed six (06) subjects in G.C.E. (O/L) examination, at least with two (02) credit passes in maximum of two sittings.
AND - Having obtained the license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic for driving heavy vehicles and a minimum of three (03) years’ experience in driving after obtaining the driving license.
Age: Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
Other: Every Applicant,
- Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post well and to serve in any part of the island.
- Should be of excellent moral character.
Selection : By a structured interview and a Trade Test
Salary Scale : Rs. 48,005 – 16×490 – 55,845 p.m.as at 01.01.2025 [U PL 3(III)]
