Applications are entertained for the following posts from suitability qualified permanent confirmed employees of the University Grants Commission/Higher Educational Institutions.

1) TECHNICAL OFFICER (CIVIL) GRADE III

Salary Scale : Rs. 31,625-7×300: 10×355-37,275 U-MT I (III)

Qualifications:

• Should pass in three (3) subjects at the G.C.E (A/L) examination in one sitting in Physical Science Stream.
  AND
• Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below than the N.V.Q Level 5 issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission or recognize Institution in the field of Civil Engineering or Equivalent

Age Limit: Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age on the closing date of applications.

2) NURSING OFFICER GRADE II

Salary Scale: Rs. 31625-7×300; 10×355-37275 p.m. U-MT I (III)

Qualifications:

• G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination in six subjects at not more than two sittings with credit passes in 03 subjects.
• Certificate of competence as a Nurse recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council

Age Limit: Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age on the closing date of applications.
General Conditions:

• Applications for the above posts should be made in the prescribed form sent herewith and returned to the “Deputy Registrar, Non-Academic Establishments Division, Senate House, University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya” on or before 20.01.2024.
• The name of the post should be stated on the top left-hand corner of the envelope with photocopies of relevant Education Certificates, Service Certificates and other supporting documents.
• Candidates in the service of the University Grants Commission and Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes, should channel their applications through the Heads of their respective Institutions. Applications which are not forwarded through the respective Heads of Departments will be rejected.
• Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.
• Illegible incomplete and applications without supporting documents will be rejected.
