Applications are invited from suitably qualified Sri Lankan applicants for the following vacant posts at the Sri Pali Campus until 07th April 2026.
01. Work Assistant (Temporary Basis)
Qualifications:
- Must have passed the G.C.E. (O.L.) Examination with at least two (02) credit passes in six (06) subjects at not more than two sittings
Age: Must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 45 years of age as on the closing date for applications.
Others
Every applicant,
- must be a Sri Lankan citizen.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post successfully.
- Must be of good character.
Monthly Salary :
Rs.42,775/- + Rs.17,800/- (Living Allowance) +ETF+UPF
Period of Service : 06 months
Method of Recruitment : Through Career Test and/or Interview
Conditions and Benefits:
- The selected candidate will be recruited on a temporary basis for a period of 06 months. If the service period is satisfactory, he/she will be considered for extension. Candidates who are selected for this appointment will not be eligible for permanent appointment.
- Shortlisting and interview of candidates will be done at the discretion of the University.
- The selected candidate will be a member of the University Provident Fund. 10% of his/her monthly salary will be contributed to the University Provident Fund while the employer will contribute a total contribution equal to 15% of the employee’s salary.
- The University contributes 3% of the salary to the Employees’ Trust Fund in accordance with the provisions of the Employees’ Trust Fund Act No. 46 of 1980.
- Other conditions of recruitment are in accordance with the Universities Act 16/1978 and its other amendments, rules, laws and regulations.
