Applications are invited from Sri Lankan citizens of good health and excellent character for the following vacant post in the staff of the Secretary General of the Parliament of Sri Lanka.

Driver Post – (Number of Vacancies 02]
Salary Scale:
- As per Schedule I of Management Services Circular No. 04/2025 dated 25.03.2025, the monthly salary scale for this post is 51,020 – 11 x 590/10 x 680 – 64,310/- 65. (The minimum starting gross monthly salary for this pay scale with all additional allowances is approximately Rs. 89,000/-).
Age Limit:
- Must not be less than 25 years and not more than 40 years of age as on the closing date for receipt of applications. (The maximum age limit does not apply to applicants who are already in service in the State or Provincial Public Service.)
Educational Qualifications:
- Must have passed the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination in 06 subjects including Sinhala and Tamil in not more than two sittings.
Professional Qualifications:
- Must possess a driving license for all classes of motor vehicles including heavy vehicles. (The applicant should be able to carry out minor repairs to vehicles on a daily basis and should have knowledge of motor mechanics and be able to work on holidays, weekends and outside normal working hours.)
