SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka who possess the required qualifications to fill the vacancy in the post of Software Engineer (contract) in the Sri Lanka Medical Council.
General Conditions:
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- Be of excellent moral character
- Be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post
Nature of Appointment:
This appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of one (01) year, which may be extended for a further period of one (01) year based on performance and service requirement.
Educational Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Technology or an equivalent qualification recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka.
Experience:
Applicants should have:
- A minimum of Five (05) years experience in software engineering, development, and system implementation.
- Experience in web-based application development, database management, and system integration.
- Experience in cybersecurity practices and API development.
- Experience in healthcare system design and development, including digital platform integration, with strong exposure to payment gateway integration.
