• Assist in preparing the printing machine, adjusting pressure, inking the offset machine, loading the paper, and adjusting the press to the proper dimensions of the paper to avoid machine idle time.
• Assist in minimizing material wastage in printing and removing waste papers to reduce production costs and protect production quality.
• Carry out necessary adjustments for printing machines to reduce machine make-ready time.
• Contribute to maintaining a dust-free, clean environment in the section, and ensure proper disposal of waste to create a conducive working area.
• Assist in carrying out monthly maintenance work, such as cleaning rollers and properly oiling    machines as per instructions to prevent machine breakdowns.
• Prepare menu cards for day-to-day menu operations and insert inner pages to supply menus to SLCS (SriLankan Catering Services) employees on time.

Requirements

• 6 passes at G.C.E Ordinary Level (O/L) in one sitting including a Pass for English & Mathematics.
  OR
• Sat for G.C.E Ordinary Level (O/L) must have fully or partly completed the Offset Lithography course at SLIOP/Recognized institute
