VACANCIES (ON CONTRACT BASIS – 06 MONTHS)
Rajarata University of Sri Lanka will entertain applications from suitably qualified persons for the following posts. Candidates who wish to apply for the posts should possess the following minimum qualifications.
SUPERVISOR (CIVIL)
Qualifications:
- National Certificate in Technology or equivalent qualifications with 3 years experience may be obtained while following the NCT course,
OR - G.C.E.(Ordinary Level) Examination in six subjects at not more than two sittings with at least 5 years’ experience as a Supervisor in relevant field in a Government, Local Government or State Corporation or a recognized Engineering Establishment.
Salary : All inclusive salary of Rs: 68,895.00
Age : Not more than 45 years
Method of Recruitment: Selection by Interview
DRIVER
Qualification:
- Having passed six (06) subjects in G.C.E. (O/L) examination, at least with two (02) credit passes in maximum of two sittings.
And - Having obtained the license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic for driving heavy vehicles and a minimum of three (03) years experience in driving after obtaining the driving license.
Salary : All inclusive salary of Rs: 65,805.00
Age : Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
Method of Recruitment: Selection by Trade test and structured interview
Other
- Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- Should be physically and mentally fit to the discharge the duties of the post well and to serve in any part of the island
- Should be of excellent moral character
Benefits
Appointees will become contributors to the Universities Provident Fund and to Employees Trust Fund.
