Post of Quantity Surveyor
Applications are hereby invited from citizens of Sri Lanka for vacancy in the Ruwanwella Water Supply Project – The applicants should possess the following qualifications.
POST OF Quantity Surveyor (01 Post)
Salary Code : PS 4 Category A in 01/2019 MSD Circular (Rs.100,000/- Plus COL)
- A Successfully completed Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (QS), which is recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Or
A qualification recognized by the University Grant Commission as an equivalent qualification to the degree in the relevant field (QS)
Or
An Associate Membership / A similar Professional Qualification obtained from a recognized professional institution in the relevant field (QS)
with
At least six (06) years post qualifying experience in the relevant field - An Officer of the Government All Island Services Class III/II or above or similar status in the relevant field
With
At least 06 years of experience in the Class III/II post.
AGE LIMIT :
- Below 65 years by the closing date of applications.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:
The appointments will be on contract basis initially for a period of one year renewable annually, subject to satisfactory performance appraisal. All conditions in the Management Services Circulars will apply in relation to the appointment.
METHODS OF SELECTION:
Short listed applicants based on the highest qualifications and experience, will be called for an interview and selection will be based on the performance at the interview.
