Applications are invited for the Lecturer job vacancy at the Open University of Sri Lanka.

Lecturer

Applications will be entertained from suitably qualified persons for the above post.

Qualifications:

A Degree (Honours) with specialization in Tamil as the First Language, with a First or Second Class (Upper Division) and at least 01 year of experience in teaching/research/professional work/postgraduate studies.

A Degree (Honours) with specialization in Tamil as the First Language, with Second Class (Lower Division), and at least 01 year of experience in teaching/research/professional work/postgraduate studies.

AND

Excellent communication skills in Tamil, Sinhala and English languages
Familiarity with the digital platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft teams and technology used in teaching

Duration of the appointment

Appointments will be made initially for six months and extendable up to two years based on performance.

Remuneration:

A fixed monthly allowance of LKR 62000/= (inclusive of COL allowance) EPF + ETF.
