Applications are invited for the following posts at the Si Lanka Thriposha Limited.

Engineering Services Officer (JM – 1-1-2016)

Qualifications for External Applicants

• Should have obtained a BSC. Eng degree (after passing the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in Mathematics stream) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission and should have experience of not less than one (01) year in government / government institution or reputed commercial establishment after obtaining the qualification
  Or
• Should have obtained a Proficiency Certificate of not less than N.V.Q. Level Seven (07) issued by a Technical / Mechanical Vocational Training Institute recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission and should have not less than 03 years experience. (Should have passed Advanced Level in Mathematics stream.)
  Or
• Should have obtained a Proficiency Certificate of not less than N.V.Q. Level Six (06) issued by a Technical/Mechanical Vocational Training Institute recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission and should have at least 05 years’ experience in government, government corporation, board, statutory institute in the relevant field. (Should have passed Advanced Level in Mathematics stream.)

Production Officer (JM-1-1-2016)

Qualifications for External Applicants

• Should have obtained a BSC degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (Should have followed General Certificate of Education Advanced Level Examination in Mathematics or Science stream) and should have not less than One (01) year’s experience in government / government institution or reputed commercial establishment after obtaining the educational qualifications
  Or
• Should have obtained an Engineering Diploma Certificate either National Diploma in Technology (NDT) from Moratuwa University, NET from Engineering Technological Institute, Katunayake, Higher National Diploma in Technology (HNDT) and should have not less than three (03) years experience in a manufacturing institution

General

Starting Salary Scale:

• From 01.01.2016 – JM 1-1-2016 Grade II – Rs. 42,600/= in addition to that, government approved allowances will be paid. (From April 2025 salaries will be amended as per new Budget proposals)

Age: Should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.

Fitter (PL-2)

(a) Educational Qualifications – (External Applicants)

• Should have passed in at least two (02) subjects at the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination.

(b) Trained Skills / Proficiency

• Should have obtained a Trained Skills / Proficiency Certificate relevant to above post compatible to NVQ Level Two (02) or Level Three (03) as recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission and not less than two (02) years training / experience in industrial division.

Starting Salary Scale:

• From 01.01.2016 PL-2-2016 Grade III Rs. 25,750/- in addition to that, government approved allowances will be paid. (From April 2025 salaries will be amended as per new Budget proposals)

Age: Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.

Others:

3. Should have an excellent moral character
4. Employee should contribute 10% to Employees Provident Fund and Sri Lanka Thriposha Ltd will contribute 15% to the Employees Provident Fund and 3% to the Employees Trust Fund.
5. Night Shift is operative
