Applications are entertained for the following posts from suitability qualified permanent confirmed employees of the University Grants Commission/ Higher Educational Institutions.

1) SUB WARDEN (FULL-TIME) GRADE II

Salary Scale : Rs. 42,885-18 x 660 – 54,765 U-MN 3 (II)

Qualifications: (i) A graduate of a recognized University. Preference will be given to those with experience in administration and management of Hostels.

2) NURSING OFFICER (DENTAL) GRADE II

Salary Scale : Rs. 31625-7×300; 10×355-37275 p.m. U-MT I (III)

Qualifications: 1. (a) Passes in 6 subjects at the GCE (O/L) Examination including 5 Credits obtained in not more than two sittings. The Credit Passes should include Science & Mathematics.
OR
(b) Passes in 6 subjects at the GCE (O/L) Examination obtained in not more than three sittings & 8 years satisfactory permanent service in the UGC or a Higher Educational Institution/ Institute. The subjects passed should include Science & Mathematics.

General Conditions:

1. Applications for the above posts should be made in the prescribed form sent herewith and returned to the “Deputy Registrar, Non-Academic Establishments Division, Senate House, University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya” on or before 28.02.2025
2. The name of the post should be stated on the top left-hand corner of the envelope with photocopies of relevant Education Certificates, Service Certificates and other supporting documents.
3. Candidates in the service of the University Grants Commission and Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes, should channel their applications through the Heads of their respective Institutions. Applications which are not forwarded through the respective Heads of Departments will be rejected.
4. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.
   Illegible incomplete and applications without supporting documents will be rejected.
