National Insurance Trust Fund Job Vacancies

The National Insurance Trust Fund, established under the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, is the only institution established in Sri Lanka to operate insurance schemes such as Agrahara Medical Insurance, Motor Insurance and to act as an underwriter for local insurers. This fund board is a state-owned institution that has achieved a leading position in the local insurance industry in terms of innovation, growth and profitability in a short period of 18 years.

Applications are invited from qualified persons for the following vacancies in the National Insurance Trust Fund Board.

01. Risk Manager (HM 1-2)

External Applicants (1 or 2)

1. Insurance | Accounting / Business Administration / Finance | Degree in Commerce or other relevant subject area With a Postgraduate degree in the relevant field

Or
A recognized professional chartered institution, institutional membership in the relevant field. (Associate Membership)

And
At least 13 years of work experience at the management level in a corporation, statutory board, institution or a recognized private institution

Or

2. Full Membership of a recognized professional chartered institution in the relevant field

And
At least 13 years of work experience at the management level in a corporation, statutory board / institution or a recognized private institution

Internal Applicants (1 or 2)

1. Qualifications of the above external applicants
2. Having 03 years of satisfactory work experience in the relevant subject area in the Management Category, Grade I (MM) and having passed the Second Efficiency Bar Examination.

Salary Scale : HM 1-2 – 2025 Rs. [143,120 – 15 X 4,100 – 204,620]

Age:  Not less than 35 years and not more than 55 years. Maximum age limit is not applicable for internal applicants.

Appointments: These appointments are permanent appointments. Entitled to Employees Provident Fund and Employees Trust Fund.

Conditions :

All applicants :

• Must be a Sri Lankan citizen.
• Must be mentally and physically fit to perform the duties of the post and should be available to work anywhere in the island.
• Must be of good character.
