VACANCIES
The National Innovation Agency (NIA), established by the Parliamentary Act, No. 22 of 2019, is looking for suitable candidates with a sound academic and professional background and passionate about growing with an innovative mindset to serve in the following positions.
Innovation Officer
Qualifications
a) A Special Degree in Science streams, Engineering, Agriculture or Social Sciences streams, which is recognized by the UGC, in the field relevant to the post
OR
b) A General Degree in Science streams, Engineering, Agriculture or Social Sciences streams, which is recognized by the UGC with a postgraduate diploma in the relevant field.
Age
Age should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years
Salary per month
AR 1-2025 (Basic Salary + Cost of Living)
Rs. 71,700+17,800 = 89,500.00
Management Assistant
Qualifications
a) Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects in one sitting with credit passes for four subjects, including the following:
i. Sinhala/Tamil
ii. Mathematics
iii. English Language
AND
Having passed at least three subjects (other than the General Paper) at the GCE (A/L) examination.
Age
Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years
Nature of the post
Contract basis for 2 years (to be renewed annually)
Salary per month
MA 1-1 2025 (Basic Salary + Cost of Living)
Rs. 40,403 + 17,800 = 58,203.00
- Applicants should be citizens of Sri Lanka.
- Applicants should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post well and to serve in any
part of the island. - Applicants should be of excellent moral character.
- Recruitment by a structured interview.
- These appointments will be Contractual for 2 years (to be renewed annually) with entitlement to Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).
