Open Competitive Examination for Recruitment to the Posts of Technical Assistant (Irrigation) Grade III and Technical Assistant (Mechanical) Grade III in the Department of Irrigation under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation – 2025
Applications are invited from Sri Lankan citizens who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria for the Open Competitive Examination for Recruitment to the above posts in the Department of Irrigation under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation. This examination will be conducted by the Commissioner General of Examinations in the Colombo District in April 2026. The Director General of Irrigation has the power to postpone or cancel this examination.
The application is published on the website of the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka www.donets.lk under “Our Services” under “Online Applications – Recruitment Exams/E.B.Exams” and applications can be submitted online only. Online applications will open on 12th January 2026 at 9.00 am and will close on 06th February 2026 at 9.00 pm.
Officers currently serving in the State and Provincial Public Service should submit a copy of the application to the Head of the Institution for inclusion in their personal file and should produce a copy of the application certified by the Head of the Institution and a letter of confirmation of service when called for interview.
The applicant should bear any adverse consequences arising from delay in submitting the application until the last date.
