Job Description
Assist in diagnosing the defect and then perform repair/maintenance activity under supervision.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assist to identify faults and then to carryout repair, overhaul and maintenance work on automobiles, Ground Support Equipment (GSE)- Motorized / Non-motorized, Aircraft jacks, tow bars and other mobile / non-mobile equipment under supervision.
- Attending hydraulic, pneumatic components, servo mechanism and tire repairs to ensure serviceability levels of GSE under supervision.
- Support to carryout preventive maintenance work and Performance checks on existing units , including testing, dismantling, re-assembly and final testing to ensure serviceability levels of GSE under supervision.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards & work in safe manner to avoid damaging equipment, tools, components, engines etc.
- Check and verify vehicle /GSE serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems to release equipment/vehicles on time under supervision.
- Attending emergency repairs during night shift including spare wheel replacements.
Requirements
6 passes at G.C.E Ordinaray Level (O/L) with 4 Credits including a Pass for English and full Trade qualification NVQ Level 4 certificate (Mechanic).

Should possess a Light vehicle driving license.
The upper age limit should be 30 years at the closing date 11th February 2024.
