VACANCIES
Applications will be received for the undermentioned posts at the Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited.
MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT – TECHNICAL SEGMENT 2 (MA-2-1-2016) (male)
Educational Qualifications: (External Applicants)
- Passed G.C.E. (O/Level) Examination in six (06) subjects in one sitting with Credit passes for 04 subjects including Sinhala / Tamil language, English language, Maths,
- Passed G.C.E. (A/Level) Examination in all subjects in the Science Stream (except the common general paper) and obtained qualifiying level to follow a tertiary education course.
Technical Skills / Competencies
- Obtained certificates successfully following a technical course not less than the Level Five (05) of National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) as specified by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.
Other qualifications specially relevant to the Post:
- A Mechanical Engineering Diploma recognized by the University Grants Commission or equivalent qualifications and one (01) year experience in the production of engineering section at a Government recognized commercial institution.
Commencing Salary Scale:
- Starting from 01.01.2016 – MA-2-1-2016 – Rs. 30,310/= in addition, Government approved allowances will also be paid (Salary amendments effected from April, 2025 in terms of the Budget proposals).
MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT – NON TECHNICAL (MA-1-1-2016)
1. Educational Qualifications: (External Applicants)
- Should have passed G.C.E. (O/Level) Examination in six (06) subjects in one sitting with four (04) Credit Passes including.
i) Sinhala / Tamil
ii) Maths
iii) English Language - Passed G.C.E. (A/Level) Examination in minimum three subjects (except the common general paper).
c) Other qualifications specially relevant to the Post.
- Followed a Course in Computer Word Processing/ Typesetting recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission or obtained similar level of skills.
d) Commencing Salary Scale:
- Starting from 01.01.2016 – MA-1-1-2016 – Rs. 27,910/= in addition, Government approved allowances will also be paid (Salary amendments effected from April 2025 in terms of the Budget Proposals).
Other:
Every applicant should:
- Be a Sri Lankan citizen
- Be mentally and physically fit so as to properly discharge duties relevant to the Post
- Posess an excellent charact
- While the employee will contribute 10% of his salary to the Employees Provident Fund, the company will provide 15% and an additional 3% will also be provided to the Employees Trust Fund by the Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited.
- Be not below the age of 18 years and not above 45 years.
- Night shift work is involved.
