INTERNSHIP- IT (Colombo)
Scope of Work
- Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of web and application systems
- Support ongoing digital transformation initiatives including website upgrades, integrated HRIS, billing systems, and Al-based solutions
- Help maintain existing applications and troubleshoot technical issues
- Assist in content management and routine administration of WordPress-based systems
- Support server access, deployment activities, and file transfers using FTP/SFTP
- Follow version control practices using Git for code collaboration
- Prepare technical documentation and provide project updates when required
Candidate Profile
- Graduates or Undergraduates specialized in the field of IT/ Software Development / System Administration/ Cybersecurity or equivalent qualification from a reputed university or institute
- Should be preferably below 25 years of age
- Should possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages
- Knowledge of web and application development technologies including JavaScript, Golang, Python, PHP, Node.js, APls, and JWT authentication
- Basic understanding of databases and data handling (SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Fire store) and content management systems such as WordPress
- Familiarity with development tools and environments including Git, API testing tools, FTP/SFTP, fullstack concepts, and Linux
