Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following posts in this University from 2025.10.22 to 2025.11.06.
Pharmacist (Lower Grade)
Qualifications :-
A certificate of competency recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council as a qualified pharmacist.
Salary Scale :- Rs. 51,095-7×540; 10×640- 60,575 (monthly) U-MT 1(III)
(In addition to this, allowances approved by the Government will be paid.)
Recruitment :- Through interview.
Age :- Should not exceed 45 years.
Laboratory Assistant (Grade III)
Qualifications :-
- G.C.E. (O/L) Examination with at least two passes at grade C in six subjects in not more than two sittings and a Certificate of Proficiency in the National Vocational Qualification V.Q 2 or 3 issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission relevant to the work of Laboratory Assistant.
OR - G.C.E. (O/L) Examination with at least two passes at grade C in six subjects in not more than two sittings and one (01) year of technical skill work experience in the relevant subject field
Other:
- Should be a Sri Lankan citizen.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post well and to serve in any part of the island.
- Must be a person of good character.
Salary Scale :- Rs. 44,575 – 16×490 – 60,575 (Monthly) U-PL 2(III)
(In addition to this, government approved allowances will be paid.)
Recruitment:- Through a professional test and structured interview.
Age:- Should not be less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
Driver (Grade III)
Qualifications:-
- G.C.E. (O.L.) Examination with a minimum of two (02) credit passes in six (06) subjects at a maximum of two sittings.
- And
Must have obtained a driving license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Transport for driving heavy vehicles and have at least three (03) years of driving experience after obtaining the driving license.
Others:
- Must be a Sri Lankan citizen.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post and to serve in any part of the island.
- Must be a person of good character.
Salary Scale :- Rs. 48,005 – 16×490 – 55,845 (Monthly) U-PL 3(III)
(In addition to this, allowances approved by the Government will be paid.)
Recruitment :- Through Professional Test and Structured Interview.
Age :- Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
Note :
Applicants are required to pay 10% of their earnings to the University Provident Fund, and the University will contribute an amount equal to 15% of the said earnings to the said fund and out of that 15%, an amount equal to 7% will be credited to the University Provident Fund and an amount equal to 8% will be credited to the University Pension Fund. In addition, 3% will be credited to the Employees’ Trust Fund by the University.
