Recruitment of Nursing Students for Training at the National Nursing College, Kandana, Affiliated to the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital
Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens with the following requirements for training at the Nursing College, Affiliated to the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital, Kandana, for recruitment to the permanent service of the Jayewardenepura General Hospital.
a) Educational Qualifications :
- G.C.E. (A/L) Examination with passes in at least three (03) subjects (excluding the General Common Examination) from Biology, Physics (Mathematics stream) or Agricultural Science stream.
- G.C.E. (O/L) Examination with credit passes in 04 subjects including Sinhala / Tamil, English, Mathematics and Science, not more than twice. (Certified copies of certificates of the above examinations and average “Z” marks should be attached with the application)
Age Limit and Conditions Related to Training
- Should be not less than 18 years of age as on 18.01.2026 and not more than 25 years of age.
- Should be not less than 5 feet tall.
- Should be unmarried.
- Should be physically and mentally healthy.
- Should agree to remain unmarried until the successful completion of the training
- Only male applicants should apply.
