Applications are invited from internal as well as external candidates for the following vacant posts in the Hewahat, Nawalapitiya, Galaha and Monaragala zones of the Janatha Estate Development Board.

01. Designation: Administrative Officer (Hope, Rahathungoda, Diyaluma, Hanthana, Mountain Estate)

• Minimum G.C.E. (O.L) and more than 03 years of experience as an administrative officer in a plantation company or a government-owned estate or 10 years of experience as a senior clerk

02. Designation: Senior Clerk (Hope, Rockwood, Levelon Estate)

• At least G.C.E. (O.L) and more than 03 years of experience as a senior clerk in a regional plantation company or a government-owned estate or 05 years of experience as a senior assistant clerk and at least 05 years of experience in accounting software

03. Designation: Junior Clerk (Hope, Rockwood, Levelon Estate)

• At least G.C.E. (O.L) and more than 03 years of experience as a junior clerk in a regional plantation company or a government-owned estate

04. Designation: Clerk (Hanthana Estate)

• At least G.C.E. (O.L) with more than 03 years of experience as a clerk in a regional plantation company or a government estate

05. Position: Field Officer (Hope, Lulkandura, Galabada Estate)

• At least G.C.E. (O.L) with more than 03 years of experience as a field officer in a regional plantation company or a government estate or 05 years of experience as an assistant field officer or 10 years of experience as a junior assistant field officer

06. Position: Assistant Field Officer (Hope, Rookwood, Lulkandura Estate)

• At least G.C.E. (O.L) with more than 03 years of experience as an assistant field officer in a regional plantation company or a government estate or 05 years experience as a Junior Assistant Field Officer

07. Designation: Junior Field Officer (Rockwood, Rahathungoda, Lewalan, Lulkandura, Galabada Estate)

• At least G.C.E. (O.L) and more than 03 years experience as a Junior Field Officer

08. Designation: Senior Tea Factory Officer (Lulkandura Estate)

• At least G.C.E. (O.L) and more than 03 years experience as a Senior Factory Officer in a Regional Plantation Company or a Government-owned Estate 10 years experience as a Tea Factory Officer.

09. Position: Chief Factory Officer (Hope, Lulkandura Estate)

• A minimum of G.C.E. (O.L) and more than 03 years of experience as a Factory Officer in a Regional Plantation Company or a Government-owned Estate or 05 years as a Senior Assistant Factory Officer or 10 years as an Assistant Factory Officer

10. Position: Assistant Tea Factory Officer (Lukandura Estate)

• A minimum of G.C.E. (O.L) and more than 03 years of experience as an Assistant Factory Officer in a Regional Plantation Company or a Government-owned Estate or 05 years as a Junior Assistant Factory Officer

11. Position: Assistant Industrial Officer (Hope, Lulkandura Estate)

• A minimum of G.C.E. (O.L) and 03 years experience as an Assistant Technical Officer in a Regional Plantation Company or a Government Owned Estate

12. Position: Driver (Hope Estate)

• 1 year or more experience as a driver with a valid driving license

13. Position: Child Development Officer (Lulkandura Estate)

• At least G.C.E. (O.L) pass and 03 years experience as a Child Development Officer in a Regional Plantation Company or a Government Owned Estate
• Must have good communication skills in Sinhala and Tamil languages.

14. Designation: Welfare Officer (Mahawila Estate)

• G.C.E. (O/L) with English and Mathematics and more than 1 year experience as a Welfare Officer/Trainee Welfare Officer in a recognized organization in the plantation sector
• Must have good communication skills in English, Sinhala and Tamil.

Age:

For the posts of Administrative Officer, Factory Officer, Field Officer and Estate Doctor, Assistant, the age should be less than 55 years and for all other posts the age should be less than 45 years. This age limit does not apply to officers currently employed.

Salary: As per the currently effective collective agreement.

Certified copies of relevant educational, professional qualifications and other certificates should be sent to the Chairman, Janatha Estate Development Board (JEDB) by registered post on or before 28th June 2025. The post applied for should be mentioned in English capital letters at the top left corner of the envelope. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
