The University of Colombo School of Computer Science (UCSC), a leading higher education institution in Sri Lanka offering undergraduate and postgraduate education in computer and related fields, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions by Monday, 16th February 2026.
01. Driver
Educational Qualifications:
- Must have passed the G.C.E. (O.L.) Examination in 06 subjects with credit passes in 02 subjects in not more than two sittings.
and
- Must have a driving license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Vehicles for driving heavy vehicles and must have at least three (03) years of experience after obtaining the driving license.
Other Qualifications:
- Must be a Sri Lankan citizen
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post and to serve in any part of the island
- Must be of good character
Salary: Rs. 65,805/- (Basic Salary + Living Allowance)
Method of Recruitment: Through Interview and Trade Test
Age Limit: Between 18 – 45 years
Conditions:

Along with this, a copy of the completed application form should be downloaded and forwarded to ([email protected]) (Deputy Registrar / Institutions Division) by email on or before 16th February 2026.
The subject of the email should be “Driver (Contractual)”. - Applications received after the closing date, incomplete or not submitted as per the prescribed format on the UCSC website will be rejected.
