VACANCIES
Project Title: Identifying factors associated with movement and selected health behaviors
of preschool children in Sri Lanka.
The Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, is calling for applications from suitably qualified candidates for the above vacancies under the SUNRISE Project at the Centre for Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.
This is a contract position. Initially the appointment shall be for a period of six (06) months. The positions may be renewed for a maximum of another three (03) months based on performance and need, during the period of the operation.

Required Qualifications:
- A Degree in any field from a recognized University.
Preference will be given to the candidate who possess;
- Good administrative skills.
- Experience in research projects will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in both Sinhala and English (written and verbal).
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office, internet use, and mobile data collection tools.
SALARY AND OTHER CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT:
a. Salary
Basic Salary – Rs: 37,852.18/= p.m. plus cost of living allowance (Rs. 17,800.00), Monthly allowance (Rs. 5000.00) and applicable EPF and ETF will be paid. (as at 01-01-2025)
