Applicants are invited to the Program Assistant job vacancy at the Department of Demography in University of Colombo.

Program Assistant

Applications will be entertained from suitably qualified applicants for the following post at the Department of Demography, Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo.

Programme Assistant (On Contract basis)

Minimum Qualifications:

Should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects at one sitting with credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil language, English language/English Literature, and Mathematics.
Should have passed all the subjects in G.C.E. (A/L) Examination at one sitting.
Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka and should be of good character.
Preference will be given to those who possess the following.

An acceptable qualification in computer applications of not less than six (06) months duration obtained from a recognized institute.

Experience in the use of computer applications (including the MS office package) not less than six (06) months duration.

Age: Between 20-35 years

Salary: Rs. 27,500.00+ Cost of Living Allowance + EPF (12%) + ETF (3%) and government approved allowance Rs. 5000.00 as per UGC Circular No. 02/2022.

Period of Contract: Two years.
