01. Post: Technical Assistant (Civil)
Number of Posts : 01 Post
Qualifications
- Shall have successfully completed a course in Technology Science / Civil Proficiency Certificate of not less than NVQ Level 05 the National Vocational Skills issued by a Technical / Vocational Training Institute recognized by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission
and - Experience of at lease one (01) year in the field relevant to the post.
Salary Scale
- Rs. 50,540 – 10×540-07×630-04×1,080-20×1,280-90,270 (This pay scale will be effective from 01.01.2027)
Age
- Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years (This does not apply to those who are already working in government, corporations and departments.)
2. Post: Weighbridge Operator
Number of Posts: 02 Posts
Qualifications
- Passed in four (04) subjects including Sinhala/Tamil and Mathematics at the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination with credit passes in six (06) subjects.
and - Passed in at least three subjects (excluding the General General Examination) at the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination.
(Computer Word Processing, Typewriting, Third Year and a course recognized by the Vocational Education Commission or other equivalent level of skills in relevant cases)
Salary Scale
- Rs. 46,220-10×540-07×630-12×1080-12×1280 – 84,350 (This salary scale is effective from 01.01.2027)
Age
- Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years (This does not apply to those who are already working in government, corporations and departments.)
All the allowances approved by the government will be paid.
If the applicant is serving in the Public Service, at a department, corporation or statutory board, applications should be sent through the Head of the Institution.
