Vacancies

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens to fill the following vacancies in the Central Environmental Authority.

01. Motor Mechanic (No. of Posts – 01) – PL -3

Eligibility for Recruitment

External

1. Possession of a Certificate of Proficiency not less than the National Vocational Qualification Level 4 (NVQ Level 4) issued by a Vocational Training Institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission in the relevant field.

And
Two (02) years of experience in the relevant field from a recognized institution.

Internal

1. Possession of the qualifications required by the external candidates as mentioned above. OR
2. 05 years of experience in the relevant field in a Primary Level Semi-skilled (PL2)/ Unskilled (PL1) position and demonstrating a level of proficiency equivalent to the Second Level Vocational Qualification (NVQ Level 2) in the relevant subject area examination conducted by the institution,

Salary Scale – 43,280 – 10×490 – 10×540 – 10×590 -12×630 – 67,040

Salary will be paid as per Schedule 11 of Management Services Circular No. 01/2025.
