1990 National Emergency Ambulance Service is an institution operating under the Ministry of Health and Mass Media. Currently, with 322 ambulances, they have been on a very successful journey of saving lives islandwide.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Qualifications
- Not exceeding 35 years of age
- G.C.E. Advanced Level Biology/ Mathematics / Agriculture or
G.C.E. A/L Arts/Commerce/Technology and a course related to Health/Nursing is an added advantage. - English language proficiency.
- Previous experience in Emergency Medical Services is an added advantage.
- BMI should be between 18.5 and 27.
- Vision should be between 20/20 and 20/30.
NB: All applicants must pass the aptitude test. Also, after 3 years of service, you will be eligible for a Diploma Certificate and specialized training provided by the National Emergency Ambulance Service in collaboration with the University of Kelaniya.
