Your New Role – Social Media Manager
As a result of an internal promotion, we are looking for our new Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with the broader Marketing team, the Social Media Manager will play a key role in building O&M brand awareness and equity across organic and paid social media. Through best-in-class content creation and strong strategic thinking, you will continue to grow and foster our online O&M community.
This role will involve high-level strategic thinking, hands-on development of best-in-class content for paid and organic social media, and strong collaboration with key stakeholders in the business.
Your Day to Day Responsibilities:
Social Media:
- Develop and execute social media strategies across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, including organic and paid initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing managers to align social media efforts with product launches and campaigns, ensuring adherence to brand pillars.
- Lead hands-on content creation and editing across platforms, utilizing in-house studio facilities.
- Support sales team with social media assets and guidance to enhance customer engagement.
- Implement an always-on paid social media strategy for brand awareness and revenue generation.
- Deliver presentations on strategy and performance to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate distribution of social media assets to international distributors.
- Manage social media presence on multiple platforms for company founder.
- Manage and create monthly ambassador briefs.
- Oversee daily content posting and scheduling, particularly during events and photoshoots.
- Provide strategic direction and content creation during events, education classes, and ambassador activities.
- Assist social media coordinator in community management and engagement initiatives.
- Conduct monthly KPI reporting and research new content trends and platforms.
Relationship Management:
- Collaborate closely with marketing managers on new product launches and campaigns.
- Work directly with the founder on social media content creation.
- Support the Ambassador & PR Manager in highlighting the O&M #CORcreatots program.
- Cultivate relationships with the hairdressing community and attend ambassador events.
- Coordinate with sales leadership to encourage customer-generated content.
Key Measures of Success:
- Increase revenue, engagement, reach, and click-through rates on social channels.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, customers, salons, and ambassadors.
- Drive sales and new customer acquisition through engagement and education efforts.
- Maintain a consistent stream of engaging content in line with brand standards.
- Uphold professional communication internally and externally, meeting deadlines and resolving issues promptly.
- Adhere to company procedures and policies.
Reporting Structure:
- Report to the Head of Marketing, with oversight of the Social Media Coordinator.
- Engage with key stakeholders including the founder, Director of Education, Head of Sales, and marketing and sales teams.
