You will be responsible for providing administrative support for the People function across the countries in EMEA (Romania, Poland, Austria, Portugal, UK, Netherlands) including, but not limited to, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, monthly payroll reporting, overseeing the maintenance of confidential People records, and other related areas.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct pre- and post-employment validations/references per local compliance/legislation verifications. Conduct new employee orientation and facilitate other onboarding activities.
- Maintain, record, report, and log information pertaining to employee files to ensure these are always up to date: new hire and terminations documentation, work permits.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees by answering questions or escalating issues where appropriate.
- Manage and perform HR compliance reporting and administration for all end-to-end government statutory benefits; handle all related paperwork.
- Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, claims resolutions, invoice approvals, and terminations.
- Administer Health & Safety process in line with local compliance.
- Assist the People Advocate team with running reports for different employee lifecycle phases and project priorities.
- Provide payroll data processing support and report generation as required by local guidelines.
- Provide administrative support for People department projects and events as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge of Romanian labor law
- General understanding of People processes and data.
- Any experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
