Under the IM Japan (TITP) program, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment is hosting an awareness and recruitment programme for job opportunities in Japan’s construction sector for males and care giving sector for females.

Applicants who meet the specified qualifications are invited to attend the auditorium of Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment at No. 234, Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Koswatta, Battaramulla, on August 22, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. Please bring all relevant certificates and documents.

(Note – Applicants who have previously applied for visa to Japan and been rejected should avoid applying for this)

Basic qualifications required for construction field

Age should be between 18 – 30 years.
Should have Passed N5 Level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), NAT Test or JFT Test or having appeared for the above one examination
Should not have Tattoos on the body.
Should have faced the GCE (A/L) examination. (should have completed 13 years of education from Government School or Private school)
Height should be 160cm or more.
Weight should be 50Kg or more.
Must not have any visual impairment (Japan visual value should be more than 0.7 and Sri Lanka visual value more than 6/9).

Basic qualifications required for caregiving field

Age should be between 18 – 30 years.
Should have Passed N4 Level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), NAT Test or JFT should have higher qualification than that.
Should not have Tattoos on the body.
Should have faced the G.C.E (A/L) examination. (should have completed 13 years of education from Government School or International school)
Height should be 150cm or more.
Weight should be 40Kg or more.
Must not have any visual impairment (Japan visual value should be more than 0.7 and Sri Lanka visual value more than 6/9)
