We are looking for highly motivated individuals with right attitudes to fill the following vacancies at Bandaranaike International Airport and Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport
Post of Technical Officer (Electrical)
01. Job Scope
- Ensure the Electrical systems are at healthy by carrying out proactive maintenance effectively and efficiently and assist the engineering projects to complete in their timelines.
02. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the requirement of material, tools and instruments for the uninterrupted services and keep the updated records of these. Maintain the records and verify the readily availability of these items in Sub-stores and stores.
- Conversant with the safety regulations pertaining to an organization and enforce it among the subordinate staff.
- Attend Systems Break-down, and take immediate action to rectify/correct the faulty systems to maintain uninterrupted service.
- Keep the daily records in systems break-downs and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain history cards for engineering systems and equipment.
- Instruct, direct and supervise the work carried out by the Subordinate staff, ensure that an efficient and satisfactory job is carried out.
- Provide Electrical Engineering input needs to preventive maintenance work schedule carryout by other Divisions.
03. Qualifications
- The National Diploma in Technology in the Electrical Engineering field, awarded by the University of Moratuwa OR
- The Higher National Diploma in Engineering in Electrical Engineering field, awarded by the Advanced Technological Institute
OR - The National Diploma in Engineering Science in the Electrical Engineering field, awarded by the Institute of Engineering Technology
OR - Diploma in Technology in the Electrical Engineering field awarded by the Open University of Sri Lanka
OR - Technician Certificate, Technician Diploma & Advanced Technician Diploma (Part I, Part II & Part III of Old Syllabus) in Electrical Engineering field of City & Guilds London Examination
AND - Should possess a minimum of three (03) years’ post qualifying experience in the relevant field in reputed organizations. (03 years’ of work experience should be acquired from the date of one of the above qualifications awarded)
04. Age
- Should be below 35 years on the closing date of applications
05. Salary
- The remuneration package offered will be attractive. In addition the selectees will receive attractive fringe benefits.
06. Method of selection
- By a written test and an interview.
General
The selected candidates will have to perform duties at any location of the company in any part of the Island as and when necessary.
